There are a lot of addiction treatment and behavioral health conferences, summits, and other educational events. It's hard to keep track of them all. That's why BHAP keeps an updated calendar of Industry Events. This comprehensive list covers coast to coast, and even some that happen outside of the US. We at BHAP know nothing more than what's listed, but we make sure there's always a link to the main website of the conference for you to go to for more information.
Would you like your industry event listed on BHAP's calendar? Use this form to submit it for consideration. Note: BHAP reserves the right to decline posting your event.

Curious if the conference is requesting proposals and what the deadline is if so? Those we know about are available here.
With COVID-19 requiring social distancing, we cannot verify the status of any of the events currently on our industry calendar. We are trying to update as we can, but please reach out to the organization producing the event (in the event description) to verify the current status.
ASA Annual Meeting
August 5 - August 9$281
The Annual Meeting of the American Sociological Association provides the opportunity for professionals involved in the scientific study of society to share knowledge and new directions in research and practice. Nearly 600 programmatic sessions are convened that provide a scholarly outlet for more than 3,000 research papers, over 4,500 presenters, and 5,000 attendees.
The ASA 117th Annual Meeting is scheduled to be held August 5-9, 2022 in Los Angeles, California. 2022 ASA President Cecilia Menjívar has chosen the theme “Bureaucracies of Displacement.” Read the full theme statement. ASA is carefully monitoring recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and others regarding the COVID-19 situation as we begin planning to host the Annual Meeting in Los Angeles. At present, we are planning for an in-person event, but we may revise plans for the health and well-being of our community. Annual Meeting attendees will be required to follow all health and safety protocols mandated at the time of the meeting.
Speaker proposals due 02/09/22.
A reminder that this list is based off of our own research, and to always check with the event in question with any questions or concerns.
