If we have learned anything during this past year, this is it: the world is FULL of stress!
It is everywhere, in everyone, and at the highest levels that we have witnessed in decades. Adults are stressed, children are overwhelmed with anxiety and fear, the political systems are fraying at the edges, and business owners are terrified in their future.
With everyone being overloaded with uncontrollable pressures surrounding them, now is the time to take a break and learn how to handle these potential emotional time bombs that are ticking inside so many of us. Knowledge and awareness can be the very tools to defuse the emotional pressures that millions are experiencing in homes around the world.
This workshop presents the listener the opportunity to recognize the early onset of anxiety and stress in our bodies, the way our bodies and minds respond to the presence of anxiety and stress, and the important effects that anxiety and stress can have on our bodies over time if not dealt with properly. The training will also present many different coping skills and tools that can help reduce the impact of anxiety and stress not only in ourselves, but in those around us.
The learning objectives are:
- Recognizing the Signs of Stress & Anxiety
- The Impact of Stress & Anxiety on our Bodies
- How to Effectively Manage Stress & Anxiety
- 5 Lies We Believe in About Stress & Anxiety
- Dealing with Children and Their Stress & Anxiety
By the end of the workshop, the listener will have a comprehensive overview of stress & anxiety and a toolbox of tips/techniques on how to handle it in ourselves and help those around us.
